It was a very great day! I woke up at 6:00am and did a 30 minute work out to one of my taebo tapes. I then showered and dressed for the day. While I was showering... I looked at my waist and noticed how much smaller it is becoming. I have a long way to go...but we should begin on this day applauding even our smallest victories.

At 6pm I headed towards the gym. My intentions were to run on the treadmill for thirty minutes, hit the sauna for an hour (meditation & relaxing) then head to my Hapkido class. However, when I arrived at the front desk of my gym to cancel my personal training sessions...I was asked to follow the fitness director to his office. When I explained that the sessions were too costly...they suddenly came up with a plan where I would receive a steep 57% discount. Hmmmmm...where was this plan when I first signed up. When I finally left the director's office a whole hour had gone by. Partly because I kept asking for tips, advice and suggestions on better health. I am always seeking out new information to share with our viewers for our CAN-TV show. I told the director that I needed some time to sit on his new offer and I would let them know by next week.
I ended up doing the contrasting showers (read my blog 2) and sauna for forty minutes...then I raced to my Hapkido class. I refined my breathing techniques and was introduced to my white belt falling forms. I was told that September 19th is the next testing date...and Master Kim's assistant felt I would be ready to test for the next belt color by then. YIPEE!
So...on day 14 I exercised for 1.5 hours and sat in the sauna for 30 minutes.
For breakfast I ate what is becoming a staple for me; oatmeal with pecans. I drank two cups of water before breakfast and two cups of water after breakfast.
For lunch I ate McDonalds (that was junk food...but I wanted it, so I ate it and decided I would work hard in the evening to get rid of the extra calories)
For dinner I ate Lasagna Hamburger Helper with 4 cups of water. My portion of food was very small because I drank the water first.
I also consumed four cups of water while I was working out...so in total I consumed 12 cups of water today.
Until day 15...love yourself and find something to love about everyone around you!
