Day 11! Scream!! I've got another stripe (tip) on my Hapkido white belt. I received a white tip today on my belt because I helped another white belt perfect all ten of his sparring moves. A white tip is special requirements. When Master Kim approached us, he asked how was the other white belt doing. I responded "Good, he's ready for testing." Much to my surprise and the other white belt student's surprise, Master Kim tested the other student right on the spot. I took the fighting stance and was the attacker, while the other student executed his sparring (defensive) moves.
Master Kim approached me first and gave me a white stripe. Yayyy!! I now have a red, yellow and white stripe on my belt (two more needed before testing for the next belt). Master Kim then approached the other student to give him a yellow stripe.
Okay...let's begin at the beginning now.
Day 11...I woke up at 5:30am, ate an apple then worked out to my taebo tape. I drank two cups of water at the conclusion of my workout.
My intentions were to get to the gym by 6pm to work out my arms (strength train) in the gym's pool. However, when my children returned home and I returned home they reminded me that we did not do our family workout this week; and the week is almost over. My children and I work out as a family twice a week. This is a tradition I started almost two months ago.
So...instead of doing a workout solo in Bally's pool...I found it much more enjoyable to work out with my beautiful children. We walked around the field near our house for about thirty minutes, then we all came back home for these gigantic freeze pops I found at ultra food store. I'm going sky diving on Saturday...so I'll have to get my second family work out in again tomorrow (Friday) before the week passes us by.
I finally made it to the gym slightly before 8pm. My hapkido class started (as typical) right on time. Master Kim took us through stretching and some extreme workouts. We then split up two by two and I was charged with helping another white belt student perfect his sparring moves. I've got to mention again...that I received another stripe on my belt. Details listed at the very beginning.
So on day 11... I exercised for a little over two hours.
Before breakfast I ate an apple and drank two cups of water
For breakfast I ate oatmeal with pecans again. I had two cups of water slightly after breakfast.
For lunch I ate a turkey and cheese sandwich on wheat bread. I had a drink called naked (the protein one). I also drank two cups of water.
For dinner I had pizza again. I love pizza. I drank two cups of fruit juice.
I did very poorly with the water consumption...I only had six cups of water. But...tomorrow is another day.
Until day 12... Notice all of the details in life and find some enjoyment within it.
